FONDEF is contributing to create a positive culture, which is necessary for the country, the institutions and for the people whether they are scientists, technologists, professionals or managers. In this way, there are more people dedicated to R&D; a better positioning has been achieved, both in image and prestige of work in Chile and at the international level. | - Promoting the development of projects, which benefit the nation as whole.
- It has been possible to assign resources and time for issues of regional importance.
- An effective participation of regional entities and the development of capacities have increased.
- There is a positive or neutral environmental impact on every project carried-out. Thus, it is possible to recognize highly positive impact on the conservation of resources, the protection and development of the environment, the development of clean technologies, etc.
There have also been notable impacts in the area of entrepreneurial participation:
- New and important ways and areas of participation have been created.
- The types of enterprises have been diversified.
- Notable changes and effects on the innovation have been brought about.
